Our trip to Tuscany would not have been complete without a stop to see the world's most famous leaning tower. Of course I'm talking about the leaning tower of Pisa.

Pisa was nothing like I expected it to be. For some reason, I just expected a tower in the middle of field somewhere by itself. Instead, I was welcomed by a series of gorgeous white buildings backlit by a perfect blue sky.

Right before you enter the area where the tower is located, there are merchants, food vendors and little restaurants selling their goods. Fedoras, scarves and Italian leather were all the rage.
