@Fashionluv03 / WeHeartIt

I've been slacking in the music department, that's a fact.

8tracks has been my go-to for all things music/playlist related for a while now, and that was primarily due to it's relationship with SoundCloud. It had a sort of partnership where you could source music from SoundCloud and use it to create a playlist instead of having to download and upload tracks yourself (illegally, mind you) like you have to now.

In mid-July, 8tracks and SoundCloud terminated their relationship leaving tons of playlist creators (like myself) with next to nothing to work with.

I'm not totally sure if the 8tracks/SoundCloud split had to do with legal issues, but 8tracks is definitely taking a serious hit because of it. Personally, I was a huge fan of the site because I was able to create playlists using awesome mixes that aren't available anywhere else and gain exposure for lesser-known artists.

For now, I'm resorting to Spotify, which is a cool site, but can't compare to the old 8tracks.
I'm NOT a fan of the ads.

Buuuuuuuut, I have created a new playlist via Spotify
This one's more indie/alternative than the usual, it's filled with familiar artists and those I listen to more frequently.
