Due to my insatiable wanderlust, I'm constantly dreaming of where I'd love to visit.
I thought this post would be a fun one to write because it serves a double purpose; writing about something I love, and serving as a list of travel goals for me in the future. So here we go...

1. South Africa
A safari in South Africa. I honestly could care less if I stay in a luxury lodge like the one pictured here, or in a dilapidated tent. Elephants are my favorite animal in the world, so I'd love to see them roam free in their natural habitat. And I mean, lions and stuff are cool too I guess...
While I'm there, I'd love to visit the beaches of Cape Town and Table Mountain.

2. Patagonia, Chile
A friend in college visited Antarctica this winter and had a stop-over in Patagonia. His pictures, let me tell you, were some of the most breathtaking images I've ever seen. The mountains of Patagonia instanly gained a spot on my travel bucket list.

3. Machu Picchu, Peru
Being a bit of a cultural history buff, I've always wanted to explore Machu Picchu. I mean c'mon, it's kind of unreal to think that an entire city was built in the clouds. It was even voted a new world wonder!
P.S. Llamas.

4. The Great Barrier Reef, Australia
I've dreamed of visiting the Great Barrier Reef since I first learned about it in elementary school. Being able to swim in warm waters among a thriving cluster of colorful sea-life is literally what dreams are made of. Well, my dreams anyway. I better hurry before pollution kills my dreams (literally...I'm sorry).

5. Morocco
I can't even begin to explain my love of Moroccan culture to you, I wouldn't know where to start. I've been to Walt Disney world a...healthy...number of times, and the Moroccan pavilion in Epcot has always been my favorite. From the architecture to the colors and tapestries, stained glass, henna, fresh, flavorful food, etc. Safe to say I'm obsessed. Even my room is completely decorated in Moroccan decor. I may not get the chance to visit every place on this list, but I will definitely visit Morocco.

6. Cinque Terre, Italy
I see these pictures everywhere, so I'm hoping and praying that this is a real place. It just looks too magical to be real. If things go as planned, I will be visiting Italy later this summer but I think I'll have to make a separate trip especially for this beauty.

7. Oia, Santorini, Greece
Blah blah blah cliché blah blah blah. Listen, I don't care how many people talk about about it, they have every right to. You can't blame me, I mean just look at it. That's all I have to say.

8. Moraine Lake, Alberta, Canada
If there was ever a more picturesque mountainside, call up National Geographic. I mean honestly, this place is UN-REAL. I just want to jump in those waters, probably freeze to death, and stay there for all of eternity.

9. Bora Bora
If you say sou never want to visit Bora Bora, you're lying. Liar. I've always said if I marry rich or miraculously have enough money, I will without a doubt go to Bora Bora for my honeymoon. There's just something so appealing about living in a hut in the middle of the turquoise jewel-colored waters and watching native fish swim under your feet. Plus a great tan.

10. Vienna, Austria
I physically could not pick one picture to hold Vienna's place in this post. They were all too gorgeous. I've heard nothing but good things about Vienna from everyone who's travelled there (especially at Christmastime when they hold Christkindlmarkts). This particular picture shows a scene from Vienna to Salzburg, where The Sound of Music was shot. Plus tons and tons of history and culture. Cool bonus.
Obviously one post could not hold the multitude of places I'd love to visit, but I think this sums up some of the obscure ones!
P.S. I wasn't including the places I'll be visiting later this summer, because I'll be making a separate post about that. ;)
