New year, new diet.

This year, I'm on a mission to eat more organically, and more health-consciously. One significant adjustment I've made is by preparing smoothies and smoothie bowls for brunch. This particular smoothie is my hands-down favorite.





Açaí Berry Smoothie
makes 1 serving

1 handful dark, leafy greens (I prefer spinach, I feel that it blends well as opposed to others)

1 banana (medium sized)

1 cup berries (I tend to go for blackberries, raspberries, strawberries and blueberries)

1/4 cup pure açaí juice

1/4 cup coconut-almond milk

1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)

Add all ingredients to a blender (I got a NutriBullet for Christmas and I'm in LOVE). Blend up and you're done! I tend to add a tablespoon of chia seeds on top, but of course that's optional.

Simple ingredients, but simply delicious.
